The 2017 CarGurus Best Used Car Awards were announced earlier this month, and four Fiat Chrysler vehicles from Dodge, Jeep, and Ram made the list. The awards are calculated based on which vehicles retain the most value over 12 years, in addition to overall quality factors determined by their own expert reviews and user reviews. CarGurus names the top car in seven different segments.
The FCA vehicles named to the CarGurus list were the 2011 to 2017 Dodge Charger, the 2013 to 2016 Dodge Dart, the 2007 to 2016 Jeep Wrangler, and the 2011 to 2017 Ram 1500. The Charger took the mid-size sedan category, while the Dart won the compact car award. The Wrangler led the small SUV category, and the Ram 1500 was the best full-size truck.
CarGurus VP of Communications Amy Mueller said CarGurus is “very impressed by FCA” for its four category wins out of seven, citing that FCA vehicles don’t just offer long-term value, “but also tremendous enjoyment to a wide variety of drivers.”
These weren’t the only FCA vehicles recognized, though. The Jeep Wrangler 4-door, the Chrysler 200, and the Dodge Durango were all second- or third-place winners in their categories.
