The vehicle was recently awarded with five stars for overall safety from the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

“The 2015 Challenger checks all the boxes,” said senior vice president of Vehicle Safety and Regulatory Compliance for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles-North America, Scott Kunselman. “It affords premium safety and security in a stylish package that delivers a sporty driving experience.”

The 2015 Challenger boasts over 70 safety and security features available to customers including Forward Collision Warning, Blind-Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross-Path Detection. In addition, the Challenger is the only vehicle in its segment to offer Forward Collision Warning to help prevent frontal collisions.

In individual crash tests, the Challenger was awarded with five stars for its performance in the side crash test and four stars for the frontal and rollover tests, earning it five stars for overall safety.
