Jeep is supporting the launch of their all-new Renegade model in some incredibly inventive ways. In fact, their new marketing campaign for the Renegade even includes a new song just to support the Renegade. Fittingly, the song is called “Renegades” and is featured in a 60-second spot also called “Renegades,” the first spot in the new campaign for the Jeep SUV.
The new song is performed by the Brooklyn-based rock band X Ambassadors and marks the first part of Jeep’s partnership with KIDinaKORNER/Interscope records. In fact, the brand is calling the collaboration nothing less than “an innovative music platform” for the campaign. “We’re staking a new claim to music and setting the stage for the Jeep brand’s North America marketing launch for the all-new 2015 Jeep Renegade,” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer, FCA – Global. “Building break-through creative to launch the Jeep Renegade to the Millennial audience around the world propels the Jeep brand into an all-new space.”
“Renegades,” the TV spot, will be followed by other spots like “Endurance Race” and “Beach.” Throughout the campaign, whether on TV, through music videos, online, or anywhere else, the proud face of the new Jeep Renegade will be seen.
