Chrysler is betting big on the new 2015 Chrysler 200 sedan, and, here at Cronic Chrysler, we believe that bet will pay off big time. To support production of the highly anticipated—and already critically acclaimed—new sedan, Chrysler added 800 jobs to their Sterling Heights Assembly Plant in Michigan. These added jobs have both expectations and optimism running sky high, as we all wait to see the new sedan slink off the line and onto the roads.
“We’re making a big bet on its success. We’ve invested nearly a billion dollars in this facility,” Chrysler CEO Sergio Machionne said in a speech at the plant. He also praised the plant’s workers, old and new: “With all due respect to Bob Dylan and to the generous amount of money to air this commercial during the Super Bowl, it is the men and women here at SHAP that are real stars.”
Those real stars will be making a premium sedan, with best-in-class features everywhere—inside, outside, under the hood, etc. An aerodynamic and aesthetic exterior leads to a lush interior—complete with Uconnect technology—and an impressive run of powertrain options and trims.
