Every year, the pickup truck war restarts anew. Well, it never quite stops, really. But every year, there’s a wave of new trucks for the people to compare, and this time around it does seem as though there is a clear winner.
With its 6.4-liter HEMI with best-in-class 410 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of torque, class-exclusive 5-link rear suspension system, and unique “Articulink” front suspension that allows additional axle flex and traction, the Ram Power Wagon didn’t even have to work hard to surpass the Ford F-150 and Chevy Silverado.
“Plenty of power and load-carrying capability for hauling and towing, well-appointed interior comfort and convenience features, great on-road ride and handling, and jaw-dropping capability in virtually any off-road terrain,” said Christian Hazel, Editor of Four Wheeler.
As we said, it was a clear winner. “The Ram Power Wagon didn’t just win Four Wheeler’s 2015 Pickup Truck of the Year, it blew the competition away,” Hazel went on to say.
